I was so excited to be invited to photograph Arla & Julie on their wedding day.  Their story on how they met and how they came to Nova Scotia was quite amazing and beautiful.  From the time I met these wonderful and ambitious ladies I felt no stress, very laid back and casual couple.  The day was grey but the wedding was anything but!  We met at the church and I went to say hello, see how my brides were doing, and quickly found out these two rum brewing ladies had no liquor license for St. Mary's Boat Club and no way is that going to be acceptable.  So luckily they have a Distillery to fall back on!  Which in my mind worked out better!  In their element, with their friends and family in the house they built, superb.  I was so fortunate to have met so many great people and Arla & Julie being so awesome, this was one of my favorite moments all year.
